After many years of commercial accounting experience, Ian entered the public accounting field and became a partner in a public accounting firm in Townsville, responsible for the Insolvency and Audit departments. From 1997, the Insolvency department traded under the name "Jessup & Partners".

In 2000, Ian commenced trading as the sole principal of Jessup & Partners with Moira and Glenn becoming partners in 2004 and Tony in 2005.

Ian has been a Registered Company Auditor since 1985 and in 2004 received a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Studies (Accounting) from Monash University, Melbourne, Victoria.

Ian is recognized as an Independent Expert on Accounting and other Financial Matters by the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Family Court of Australia

Robert completed his study of a Bachelor of Commerce at James Cook University in 2001 and commenced his employment with Jessups shortly after. Robert continued his studies with CPA Australia and attained full membership in 2006. Robert has significant experience in both corporate and non-corporate insolvency administrations.

He became principal of his own firm in 1999 specialising in Audit, Tax and compliance. John has completed a number of Insolvency appointments in his own right and has significant experience in corporate restructuring and succession planning.
