After many years of commercial accounting experience, Ian entered the public accounting field and became a partner in a public accounting firm in Townsville, responsible for the Insolvency and Audit departments. From 1997, the Insolvency department traded under the name "Jessup & Partners".

In 2000, Ian commenced trading as the sole principal of Jessup & Partners with Moira and Glenn becoming partners in 2004 and Tony in 2005.

Ian has been a Registered Company Auditor since 1985 and in 2004 received a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Studies (Accounting) from Monash University, Melbourne, Victoria.

Ian is recognized as an Independent Expert on Accounting and other Financial Matters by the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Family Court of Australia

Tony graduated from James Cook University of North Queensland and started with the firm in 1996.

In 2002, Tony also completed the Advanced Insolvency Law Course at the University of Southern Queensland and the workshops conducted by the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.

Tony is highly experienced in all areas of corporate and non-corporate insolvency administrations covering a variety of fields, including construction, primary industries, hospitality, tourism, manufacturing, property and finance.

Matt is a senior member (Fellow) of CPA Australia, with significant experience in public accounting in both Australia and Papua New Guinea, as well as commercial experience in both countries. He is particularly experienced in professional auditing, and enjoys working in this area.

Matt is based in Cairns, and supervises our Cairns based Audit and Assurance team in that city.

John is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with significant experience in public accounting in Ireland. He became principal of his own firm in 1999 specialising in Audit, Tax and compliance. John has completed a number of Insolvency appointments in his own right and has significant experience in corporate restructuring and succession planning.
